Friday Folder: November 16

The state report card numbers came out and Roosevelt’s score was 83.6 which puts us in the highest category of “Significantly Exceeds Expectations”. There will be more information coming via Blackboard.

In order to help “Strengthen Parent and Community Partnerships” Roosevelt is going to invite everyone for a sharing opportunity in an open dialogue format on Thursday, December 6 from 6:15-8:00 in the MPR. More information to come.

HOLIDAY GIVING TREE:
Let’s celebrate this season of caring with a Giving Tree for our Roosevelt teachers. We need volunteers needed for setup Monday, November 19 @ 4pm in the gym. Bring your kids along to help!  Setting the tree up includes cutting gift tags out, tying ribbons on the Giving Tags, and decorating the tree. The more people, the quicker it will go!

The tree will be up until Wednesday, December 12. A few things to note:

  • All gifts should be wrapped with the original gift tag tapped to the top by December 14
  • You can return gifts to the front office during school hours
  • Gifts will be presented at the teacher appreciation breakfast on December 19
  • Questions can go to Emily Kenney at 414-232-2167 or emilyjanekenney@gmail.com

HOLIDAY GIFT SHOP: December 1 | 9am-12pm
