Library Art Show: April 2 – 30
Art from Roosevelt students will be on showcase as part of the annual Wauwatosa School District Elementary Art Exhibit through Tuesday, April 30h in the children’s section of the library. Please feel free to bring relatives and guests to share and brag 🙂

Box Tops Collection
It is time for our Spring Box Top collection! They will be accepted through the end of April. So please continue clipping and send in the Box Tops you have been collecting over the winter to earn money for the PTA. The top class will win an ice cream party!

Board Nominations
This spring we will have a few key positions opening up. Please consider being part of the PTA board and bringing your great ideas and skills to help Roosevelt keep moving forward with the strong PTA involvement that we have.

Roosevelt’s Pizzeria Piccola Fundraiser: Sunday, April 28  |  11am- 9pm
Roosevelt PTA will be having a fundraiser at Pizzeria Piccola where a portion of all sales will donated to our PTA. Take a look at their menu online and plan to dine with classmates in the community. Customers will need to either bring the attached flyer or mention Roosevelt PTA during check out that day. Dine-in, carryout, and frozen pre-orders will all benefit Roosevelt’s PTA. In addition to dine-in and carryout the day of you can complete the attached pre-order form for frozen soup and pizza to take home an enjoy on another day. We are looking for volunteers to help clear the tables after customers finish eating upstairs. Please consider volunteering for a 2 hour shift by signing up. Kids are welcome to participate in volunteering but require an adult to be present with them at all times.

Spring Fling: May 30
Save the date and reserve your babysitter for this year’s Spring Fling! Spring Fling is a night out for parents and Roosevelt staff to socialize while helping to raise money for Roosevelt. We are excited to hold this year’s event at Birch, East Tosa’s newest event space. If you or your company is able to donate an item for silent auction or raffle, please contact Becky Torres (

High Interest Day Planning: May 17
High Interest Day is coming up! We need lots of volunteers to make this day happen.

Pancake Breakfast: Friday, April 26  |  7am – 8:15am
Gather together your family, friends, neighbors and teachers for Roosevelt’s all-school pancake breakfast. Breakfast will be served buffet style and includes all you can eat: pancakes, sausage, applesauce, milk, juice, and coffee.
Volunteers are needed to make this event a success and greatly appreciated.
