Food Drive for Tosa Cares Food Pantry: 11/11-11/20
Beginning Monday, November 11th and running through Wednesday, November 20th Sodexo and the Wauwatosa School District Elementary Schools will be partnering for our 7th annual “Be a Hero” food drive and our 2nd ANNUAL partnering with the Canadian Pacific Holiday Train. Over the last 6 years we have donated 8765 pounds of food to the Tosa Cares Food Pantry. We would love to surpass last year’s donation of 2301 pounds! We would also like to encourage all students and staff to wear orange on Friday, November 15th.

The Canadian Pacific Holiday Train will stop in Wauwatosa on Tuesday, December 3rd.  The Wauwatosa Elementary School that collects the most items will be awarded a plaque from Tosa Cares at the event!!  Please click here for more information about this event and the awards ceremony.

Regulation Stations
Mr. Krygiel needs our help! We are in need of little tents/play forts so that we may put a “Regulation Station” in each Roosevelt classroom. A Regulation Station is a safe space for a student to move to when when he or she needs to calm/reset and return to a ready to learn state. These will be located in the classroom, away from peers for any student to use when they may need to take a break. These regulation stations will be equipped with various tools to assist students in self-regulating and getting back to the class. Please email Mr. Krygiel at krygiepa@wauwatosa.k12.wi.us if you have a tent or fort to donate. Thank you!
