Friday Folder: October 7

FUN RUN THIS FRIDAY!!!!!! October 7th!
The Fun Run is THIS FRIDAY!!! We are so excited for this “Fun” community fundraising event! Thank you to all who have volunteered to help. We also need spectators to cheer on our runners! We encourage friends and family (young siblings are welcome too!) to come watch students run their hearts out, high-five Teddy the Raptor, and make a positive impact on their school community! And don’t forget to send your student in good running shoes and keep collecting those pledges!
To make the Fun Run a success – we need you!

Treatment Foster Parents and Respite Providers Needed!
Join our La Causa Treatment Foster Care Team and give the gift of family to children and youth in need. Every child deserves a safe place to call home even if that is short-term as sometimes, life’s challenges get in the way for families to provide that on their own. Help us invest in our children to ensure that they can remain in their communities. If this is not the right time to foster, then consider helping other foster families by providing short-term respite, or refer someone else who may be interested. We would be happy to answer all of your questions and share information on what it takes to become a foster parent for a child in need!

Last Call to Contribute to Classroom Funds

We’re extending the deadline just a few days to contribute to classroom funds. As a reminder, these will then be evenly distributed among each class, and used throughout the year for teacher appreciation, including holiday gifts, special treats to support, and really anyway the classroom coordinators can show how grateful we are for our teachers and staff!

The suggested donation is $10-$30 per student, but please donate what you are comfortable with. Funds can be sent electronically to the classroom coordinators via:
Venmo: @meganjoyo

If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to the classroom coordinators:
