Ready, Set, Go! The 8th Annual Roosevelt Run is Friday, September 29th during the school day. Rain or shine! The Roosevelt Fun Run is an opportunity for every student to show school spirit, work on physical fitness and raise money for field trips, cultural events, technology initiatives and more! Each student will run or walk laps in the field at school on a circuit designed by our own PE teachers.
Aside from great individual prizes for top lap runners and money raisers, Roosevelt has two all-school goals of 6,000 laps for kick ball with Mr. Supa and $14,000 for a lunch BBQ! We did it last year, Roosevelt, and we can do it again!
Here’s how it works!
1. Students ask family members, family friends and others to sponsor them for each lap or for a flat rate. Pledge forms will come home in the weekly folders or can be downloaded here: Coming soon!
2. Each student will run or walk laps in the field at school on a circuit designed by our own PE teacher
3. After the race, students will bring home a collection envelope with his/her total number of laps written on it. Use this envelope to turn in the money your child has raised no later than Monday, October 16th, to be eligible for individual prizes. All donations are tax deductible.
